Karolina Trybafa, singer and percussionist, was born in Poland and moved to Germany at the age of 16. In addition to her intensive artistic work in jazz, chanson and klezmer, she is a translator as well as a cultural mediator and gives concerts and music Work shops all over Europe. Sometimes she sounds wistful and tender, then fiery and sly, othertimes matter-of- fact and laconic. Those who hear her will experience more than a talented singer. A woman in the here and now - with heart, mind and humour, who combines tradition and modernity in a fascinating way. Karolina is a singer with a sense for linguistic nuances, a fine feeling for cultural facets, a devotion to poetry, charm and a sparkling voice. She creates jazz concerts and song recitals, literary Programmes and 20s soirees. She chooses pearis from Polish and Eastern European folk music, bossa novas and Cuban hits, art songs, populär songs, Couplets, tangos and chansons. She arranges and adapts these on the basis of jazz, experiments with text, rhythm and harmony and repackages the familiär. Karolina Trybata Mateusz Tadeusz Dudek Mateusz Tadeusz Dudek is an outstanding musician of the Polish chord scene. Born in 1993, he studied at the Academy of Music in Krakow where he is currently doing his doctorate, works as a lecturer and gives concerts with the chamber orchestra of the Academy of Music. He is also active as a pianist, teacher and arranger. Thanks to his virtuosity and willingness to experiment, he has won over 50 awards at national and international accordion competitions. Concert tours took him to faraway countries at a young age, such as United Arab Emirates, Turkey, France, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovenia, Italy, Slovakia as well as Denmark. In Poland he regularly works with important artist Personalities and can be heard on various CD productions as well as on radio and remote-productions. As a musician Mateusz Tadeusz Dudek has no limits and is moving virtuously between the world of classical music, klezmer as well asjazz and Contemporary music.
