Students of dass 9 A of the 2Oth High School Leipzig-Schönefeld report on their pro- ject work in history dass. Jewish life in Leipzig - life with perspective? In a short podcast, the Students provide information about Jewish life in Leipzig and ask Jews for perspectives on their religion and way of life. The present is always mixed with questions about the past and the future of Jewish life in Leipzig. Characteristic elements of Judaism The students present a self-designed textbook page on the topic of Judaism, providing information on important elements of the religion and asking exciting and challenging questions that encourage them to explore the topic even further. Jewish life in Leipzig- a search for traces A map of Leipzig shows important sites of Jewish life and remembrance in Leipzig from the past and present and encourages people to discoverthe cityfrom a new perspec- tive. Jewish life in Schönefeld In the project „SPURENSUCHE 360°" (Searching for Traces 360°), the students deal with the history of Nazi forced labour in Leipzig. Using the fate of a Jewish family as an example, the students research in digital archives, visitthe Leipzig Forced Labour Memorial and the historical site of the former concentration camp- subcamp in what is now Kamenzer Straße. There, 360° images are created for a virtual tour, which the students will present at the Jewish Week in Leipzig.
