Jarman to take entire charge of the manufacture of the “Archer” Plates, together with that of his specially prepared BRO" MIDE OF SILVE R in its highest sensitive state for emulsion making.” Many modifications and improve ments have been introduced, which will make these Plates unsurpassed for uniformity in sensitiveness, and all other good qualities so desirable in a Gelatine Dry Plate. Photographers who wish to make their own Plates, and at the same time would like to avoid all the trouble and oftentimes bitter disappointments incident to the various manipulations of cooking, washing, &c., have now offered to their notice a ready prepared BROMIDE of SI LV E R which only requires adding to the gelatine to make it ready for immediate use. Price of the Bromide of Silver—Per oz., 12/- ; Half-ounce, 6/6 ; free by post. Oue ounce will make 40 ounces of Emulsion, which will coat 25 dozen quarter-plates. The prices for Plates as hitherto.
