The Swedish mezzo-soprano Susanne Resmark received her musi- cal education at the University College of Music in Malmö and at the Opera Academy in Copenhagen. Immediately after completing her studies Susanne Resmark was engaged at the Opera House, Gothenburg, where she among other roles sang ‘Marcellina’ (“Le Nozze di Figaro”), Mary’ (“Der fliegende Holländer") and ‘Herodias’ (“Salome”). Düring these years she also created ‘Mrs. Sedley’ (“Peter Grimes”) at the Royal Danish Opera and ‘1. Norne' („Götterdämmerung“) and ,1. Magd‘ („Elektra“) at Den Jyske Opera. Susanne Resmark is a frequent guest with all major orchestras in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, with a wide repertoire including Oratorios, Requiems, opera-arias and Contemporary music, and she has also made guest appearances at the festivals of Schleswig-Holstein and Salzburg. Since autumn 2001 Susanne Resmark is engaged as soloist at The Royal Danish Opera where she among other roles has sung ‘Mescalina’ (“Le Grand Macabre”), Magdelone’ (“Maskerade”), ‘Ulrica’ (“Un ballo in Maschera”), ‘Ortrud’ (“Lohengrin”), ‘Brangäne’ (“Tristan and Isolde”), ‘Fricka’ (“Die Walküre”) and ‘Eboli’ ‘ (“Don Carlo”). In 2004 she sang highly successful ‘Mescalina’ (“Le Grand Macabre”) unter Michael Boder at San Francisco Opera, with Semyon Bychkov she sang concert performances and a recording of “Elektra”. In Copenhagen she had 2005 a huge success with her first ‘Klytämnestra’ in a new production “Elektra” staged by Peter Konwitschny and conducted by Micheal Schonwandt. Her Copenhagen plans include new production of “Lohengrin" (‘Otrtud’) and “Die Frau ohne Schatten” (‘Amme’ / debut) both staged by Peter Kontwitschny. In February 2002 Susanne Resmark made a spectacular appear- ance as ‘Fricka’ in a concert performance of “Die Walküre” with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Kent Nagano, and her debut as ‘Ortrud’ (“Lohengrin”), in June the same year, established her as one of the leading Wagner Singers of Scandinavia. Last season included concerts in Oslo, Gothenburg, Aarhus, Stockholm, Helsinki, Odense with conductors such as Herbert Blomstedt, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Aldo Ceccato, Alan Gilbert, James Loughran, Kent Nagano, Mikhail Yurovsky and John Neschling. Works performed include Beethoven Symphony no. 9, “Kindertotenlieder”, “Das Lied von der Erde”, “Oedipus Rex” and “Das Rheingold” concertante. Lately she sang “Das klagende Lied” in Amsterdam. In Dresden and Bucarest she will sing 2007 the alto part in Mahler’s 8*^ symphony conducted by Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos. In 2002 Susanne Resmark received the Elisabeth Dons reward, one of Denmarks most prestigious rewards for Singers and The Birgit Nilsson Award. Repertoriul säu cuprinde numeroase miniaturi din literatura clasicä, romanticä sau contemporanä de gen, lucräri vocal-simfonice (de la Handel la autori moderni) si opere printre care Carmen de Bizet, Paiate de Leoncavallo, Cavaleria rusticanä de Mascagni, Madama Butterfly, Tosca Turandot de Puccini, Aida, Don Carlo, Trubadurul, Otello de Verdi, evoluänd recent ?i in Samson si Dalila de Saint Säens, prezentatä in concert la Opera Nationale Bucuresti. Born in Cluj - Romania on 1970 Marius Vlad Budoiu completed his studies at the “Gheorghe Dima" Music Academy of Cluj Napoca, Romania. Since 1992 he is a concert soloist as well as an opera soloist, and since 1995 he is a professor at the “Gh. Dima” Academy in Cluj. He performed on the most important stages from all over the world: England, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherland, Italy, Spain, Japan. He is the winner of important competitions: 1 st Prize, the French Prize and the German Prize at the “W.A.Mozart” Contest (1995), Ist Prize and two special prizes at the tenor’s competition Traian Grosävescu - Lugoj (1995), 3rd Prize in the Robert Schumann Contest - Zwickau (1996), Ist Prize at the “Hariclea Darclee” International Competition (1997). His rieh repertoire (from Mozart to Contemporary authors) includes among other, opera roles from Carmen, Pagliaci, Cavaleria Pusticana, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Turandot, Aida, Don Carlo, II Trovatore, Otello).
