Mili hudebni prätele, zastita nad timto koncertem 64. rocniku Mezinärodniho hudebnihofestivalu Prazskejaro je pro me mimorädnou cti a potesenim. I v tomto roce se festivalu zücastni vyznamni interpreti z Nemecka. Dräzd’anskou filharmonii ndi Kurt Masur, jehoz jmeno je spjato s pokojnou revoluci za svobodu na podzim roku 1989, ktery si Cesi a Nemci v tomto roce s vdecnosti spolecne pripomfnaji'. Preji festivalu v tomto jubilejnim roce svobody zvlasf velky üspech! Dear Music-Iovers, To be a patron ofa concert at the 64th year ofthe Prague Spring International Music Festival is an extraordinary honour and pleasure for me. This year important Interpreters from Germany will again be taking part in the Festival. The Dresden Philharmonie is conducted by Kurt Masur, whose name is connected with the peaceful revolution for freedom in the autumn of 1989! It is with gratitude that Czechs and Germans will be commemorating that event together this year. I wish the Festival much success, particularly in this anniversaryyear of freedom! J. E.
