Of white it prefents the following varieties, greyifh, yellowifh, hut principally reddifh white ; from : reddilh white it paflhs into fleflt red, rofe red, and brownish red, and into brown. The yellowilh white variety fome times borders on yellow. S nne varieties approach to pearl grey, others to black. It is fometimes fpotted, and this is mod frequently the cafe with the red coloured varieties. Occurs mafiive, difieminated, globular, with tabu lar impreflions, and very often cryftallized in curved and ftraight planed rhombs, and in fpherical lenfes ; front thefe arife the following figures: 1.
