Opaque, very feldom tranflucent on the edges. Streak fhining. Very foft, and receives an impreffion from the fin* ger nail. Mild. Somewhat elaftically flexible. Very difficultly frangible. Cracks when handled ; this is very chara&eriftic* Feels meagre. So light as to fwim on water. , Specific gravity.—0993 to 0,68c, Bergman. \ Chemical Characters.
