Its colour is intermediate between greenifh and ra- v en black. It is mafiive. Internally its luflre is Ihining and gliffening, ap proaching to pearly. Fracture in the great flaty, in the fniall promif- c uous radiated. Fragments fometimes tabular, and fometimes inde terminately angular. Gives a greenifh grey flreak. Semi-hard, paffing into foft. Not particularly frangible. In other characters it agrees with the foregoing. It
