This fubftance, as found at Anglefark in Lan-. cafhrre, is delcribed by Mr. Watt, jun. nearly as follows: Its colour greyifh white, fometimes inclining to milk white, and fometimes wirh a flight ringe of yellow, from a mixture of iron ltldom green- ilh, often invelted with a reddtfh ochry crutt. It is foutidin foüd malles, fometimes fillmg an intire vein, fometimes in erfpcrfed with barolele- nite. frequenrly rounded or ffeCting that form, feldom cryltallized. Ot the crytlallized 4 forms have occurred. As i°, fmall cryfids radiated asa ft. r, i an inch in lergrh, and very thin, appear- ing to be hexangular prifms rounded towards the point; the other varieties were the fix-fided co- lumn, pointed with a pyramid of the farnc number of faces; alfo the double fix-fided and the double fout-fided pyramid.
