In Spain, it is found in extenfive ftrata forming intire mountains; thefe ftrata offer vertical flatted ftriae heaped on each other, and often interfedfed with quartz*. Sometiuies alfo cryftallized in Germany, and of a greenifh colour. In Saxony, it is found in low hexahacdral prifms with trun- eated edges and angles, the planes of the fides longitudinally feamed, or in hexangular tables heaped one on the other.
