On the fresh fracture it is whitish lead-grey, inclining to tin-wlnte; it however tarni-shes very quickly, first yellowish and brownish, and then greyish black. Besides massive and disseminated, it occurs also reni- form, botryoidal, and reticulated, in plates, with pyrami dal, cubical, and conical impressions. Externally /
