510 COBALT. Observations. The preceding ochres of cobalt are characterised bj their lightness, softness, sectility, and their yielding a resinous streak. 8. lied Cobalt-Ochre. Rother Erdkobold, Werner. This species contains three subspecies, viz. Earthy Red Cobalt-ochre, Radiated Red Cobalt-ochre, and Slag- gy Red Cobalt-ochre. First Subspecies.
