Its colours are olive-green, verdigris-green, and siskin- green. It occurs massive, disseminated, and in crusts. It is dull. The fracture is fine earthy. It sometimes occurs in concentric lamellar distinct con cretions. It is opaque. It is soft and very soft. Geognostic and Geographic Situations. It occurs along with the other subspecies of oliven-ore in the copper-mines of Cornwall. Observations. It is now about thirty-five years since the Arseniate of Copper was discovered in Cornwall: it was first found, either in Carrarach mine, in the parish of Gwennap, or in Tincroft mine, in the parish of Allogan, and some years afterwards in the mine of Huel-Gorland. % Von.
