Geognostic and Geographic Situations. It has hitherto been found only on the coast of Labra dor, where it occurs as a constituent part of a rock com posed of Labrador-felspar, and sometimes also of common hornblende, and magnetic ironstone. Observations. This mineral, although nearly allied to Anthophyllite, differs from it in being harder, heavier, its cleavage lessj distinct, and its lustre more metallic. XVIII. CHltYSOLITE
