CRICHTONITE. ' 427 Geognostic Situation. It occurs in primitive rocks, along with octahedrite, in the different countries where that mineral is found. Observations. 1. It was named Crichtonite by Bournon, in honour of Dr Crichton, in the service of the Emperor of Russia. 2.
