It occurs massive, and crystallised in rhomboidal dode cahedrons. 1 he crystals are small, all around crystallised, and im- bedded. Externally the crystals are glistening, inclining t* shining. Internally it is glistening, and the lustre is vitreous. The fracture is small grained uneven. Fhe fragments are indeterminate angular, and pretty sharp-edged. It is opaque. It is hard.
