Its colours are hyacintli-red, brick-red, blood-red, and llesh-red. It occurs massive. Internally it is glimmering and glistening, and pearly. The fracture is delicate and^parallel fibrous. The fragments are long splintery. It is translucent on the edges, or feebly translucent. It is rather easily frangible. Geographic Situation. It is found at Hall in the Tyrol, and at Ischel in Upper Austria. Third Subspecies. Radiated Anhydrite. Strahliger Muriacit, Karsten.
