Is found at Mariaspring near Gottingen, in the Harz at Wurzeln- berg in the llerzberg forests, near Braunlage, in the beds of iron ore of Elbingcrode andNeuwerk, near Ilefeld, in Thuringia near Ilmenau, Eglersburg, Brotterode and Schmalkalden, in Saxony near Schneeberg, Johann-Georgenstadt and Ehrenfrie- dersdorf, in Stiria at V or d e rnberg in clefts in decomposed chalybite, Hollerter Zug in Siegen, Naila and Arzberg in Baireuth, in many parts of the Black Forest in veins in granite 6nd new red sandstone, at Biebcr in Hessia, near Siegen, at Kupferberg and Konradswaldau in Silesia, Schwarzthal and Bnnsberg in Bohemia, Jessenitz in Moravia, Rhonitz in Hun- R3ry,. Arschitz in Bukownia, llomaneche and other places in Prance, Christiansand in Nonvay, Devonshire, Cornwall, Monk- ton in Vermont in North America. 155. SASSOLINE.—Native boracic acid ; Phillips.
