Our Thanks In spite of the generous and whole-hearted Support accorded the prepara- tions for the concert on all sides it was no slight task to complete the arrange- ments for a program of this importance and magnitude within the three short weeks at our disposal. To the hundreds of friends in St. Louis and vicinity who generously gave of their time and their interest in disposing of some 3500 seats in the new Municipal Auditorium; To the splendid lads of Boy Scout Troop 98, honor troop of St. Louis, who acted as guard of honor, and to their Scoutmaster, Dr. Forest Staley; To the management of the Statler Hotel, the J. F. Hunleth Music Co., and the officials and employees of the Municipal Auditorium who have extended many and repeated courtesies; To the office force that worked in tireless, self-sacrificing devotion; Especially to Mr. Fred W. Meyer, Jr., who has given us a new and finer interpretation of Service in behalf of a high ideal and to whose leadership much of the success of the concert is to be ascribed we say: THANK YOU! WALTER A. MAIER, Ph. D., WALTER LUETTECKE, HENRY BOECLER.
