P IPES BURST BY FROST.—The great discomfort and expense occasioned by the bursting of metal pipes from frost is cffectuallv obviated by using the PATENT .BITUMINIZED PIPES, which arc non conductors, and not affected by frost; they are as strong as Iron, (bearing a pressure of 220 lbs. on the square inch) while they arc only one-fourth the weight, and conside rably cheaper than Iron Pipes, and one-fourth the price of Lead Piping. P ATENT BITUMINIZED GAS, WATER, AND DRAINAGE PIPES.—These Pipes possess all the properties necessary for the conveyance of gas, and water, and also for drainage purposes, viz., great strength, great durability, and perfect inoxidability, and being non conductors are not affected by frost like metal pipes ; they are proved to resist a pressure of 220 lbs. on the square inchjf equal to 500 feet bead of water), are only one-fourth the weight, and considerably cheaper than iron pipes ; they are made in 7-feet lengths, and the joinings are simple and inexpensive.
