E are much pleased to note the vast impro- vement that has taken place within the last few years in designs for Lamps, Chandeliers, Candelabra, Brackets and Sconces of ail kinds. For this improvement the Public is considerably indebted to a fïrm like Messrs. Strode & Co. who are always pro- ducing new and artistic designs at moderate prices. This lirm certainly turn out from their factory (48 Osnaburgh St. Regents Park) some very beautiful métal work for Gas, Oil, Candies and the Electric Light. We find on visiting their Show rooms that fittings can be had in every style, from the plainest at a few shillings to the most ornamental and costly. We strongly advise anyone who requires fittings in artistic métal work for lights of any son to send to Messrs Strode & Co. the dimensions of the rooms, and the style in which they desire to carry out the décoration and they will then hâve submitted to them a set of suitable designs from which they will be able to make a sélection. We need hardly mention that Messrs Strode & Co. are the well known manufacturers and patentées of the Ventilating Sun Burner, the value of which is fully appre- ciated in these days of Sanitary Improvements.
