LX. Rising Mandrel Saw Bencli with arrangement for grooving, jointing, tenoning, trenching, molding, boring and mortising. This machine is used for flat and cross-cutting and ripping in either hard or soft wood. The saw mandrel is made to rise and fall by handwheel and screw, to suit various depths of work and to facilitate ripping, grooving etc. The parallel fence is adapted for ripping, cross-cutting and beveling and can be turned over end of table, when not required; it also has a fine screw adjustment. If desircd, the machine can be furnished with the following extras: cutter bead for tonguing, grooving, rebating, molding, trenching &c.; adjustable drnnken saw for cutting grooves and trenches of various widths; tenoning fence; bracket with table for boring and mortising; complete conntershaft. Cette machine sert k scier de long, it tron§onner, dcdoubler, debiter des planches, pour le bois dur et tendre. — L’arbre porte-lame tourne dans des paliers k plaque prismatique mobile, qui peut facilement ctre montfee ou descendue au moyen d’une vis k volant. — Par cette disposition Von peut faire beaucoup de travaux avec rapiditfe et facilitfe, tels que rainer, languetter etc. Le guide parallele est muni d’une vis de rfeglage; il est inclinable et se renverse hors la table, quand la scie est employfee pour tromjonner. Sur demande nous fournissons pour la machine les objets suivants: Pn porte-outils pour rainer, languetter, moulurer etc.., une scie circulaire oscillante pour rainures et languettes de differentes largeurs, un appareil k scier les tenons, une disposition avec table pour percer et mortaiser et une transmission intermediaire complete. — LX I.
